PDF Lite ("the app") is developed and maintained by Bikram. This policy explains what happens — and, more importantly, what does not happen — to your data when you use the app.

Summary

PDF Lite does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All PDF viewing and editing happens entirely on your device. The app does not require an account, does not use analytics, and does not display ads.

What the app accesses

• Files you open: PDF Lite reads and writes only the specific PDF files you choose to open, using Android's standard file picker. The app never scans your device for files or accesses anything you haven't explicitly selected.
• Local storage: A short list of recently opened files is stored locally on your device so you can quickly reopen them. This list never leaves your device.

What the app does not do

• No account creation or sign-in
• No collection of personal information (name, email, location, etc.)
• No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs
• No uploading of your files or their contents to any server
• No sharing of data with third parties, because none is collected

Permissions

PDF Lite requests only the file-access permission needed to open and save the PDF files you choose. It does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or any other sensitive device data.

Children's privacy

PDF Lite does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect data from any user.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
